Dr. Stephen L. Ondra is a board-certified neurological surgeon and national leader in medicine, medical policy, health information technology, and innovation. Ondra has held executive-level roles in health care reform, complex health care delivery systems, academe, and in the U.S. Government. Prior to his medical advisory role with physIQ, Dr. Ondra served as the Senior Vice President and Enterprise Chief Medical Officer at the Health Care Service Corporation, where he led medical policies, medical management, pharmacy, quality improvement, healthcare analytics, and performance measurement programs. Dr. Ondra brings an extensive history of health system leadership in both the public and private sectors and is a decorated Army veteran having received the Bronze Star and Army Commendation Medal for extraordinary service.
