PhysIQ recently won a National Institutes of Health contract to create an artificial intelligence-based data analytics and cloud computing platform for FDA-cleared wearable devices to create a personalized baseline index that could indicate a change in health status for patients who have tested COVID-19 positive.
The Chicago-based company was one of seven to land the NIH contract, out of a field of 200 competitors. The total value of the contracts, should all seven projects move into a second phase, would reach $22.8 million.
